On 8/23/07 a stubborn fire in a house was extinguished by crews from Engines 25, 18, 17, Tower 18 and Ladder 7 along with District Chief 8. Engines 8, 508, 7 and 40, Ladder and District Chief 19 were called to assist the original crews on scene.
